About Ink Wild Brushes
Ink Wild Brushes was born from a desire to slow down.
We’re Mira and Essi, two Finnish creatives who wanted to build a life that feels more like our own — one with more time for creativity, nature, animals, and the little everyday moments that are easy to miss when life moves too fast.
We love drawing, storytelling, old storybooks, nature, and creating animals, characters, and cozy little worlds. And somewhere along the way, we realized that we didn’t just want to make art in our free time. We wanted creativity to be a bigger part of the life we were building.
That’s where Ink Wild Brushes began.
We create handmade Procreate brushes inspired by the things we love about traditional art: texture, warmth, little imperfections, and that feeling of actually making something. Every brush is shaped by our own creative process and tested in real illustrations before it becomes part of our collections.
We make brushes that we genuinely want to use ourselves — whether we’re sketching, drawing fur and foliage, adding texture, or bringing a tiny character or cozy scene to life.
But Ink Wild Brushes is about more than brushes.
It’s about creating a slower, more intentional way of living and working. About making space to enjoy the process instead of always rushing towards the finished piece. About noticing the small things, spending time in nature, making art just because it feels good, and building a business around the kind of life we actually want to live.
We hope our brushes can bring a little bit of that feeling into your creative time too — a reason to slow down, get comfortable, and simply enjoy making something with your own hands.

Hi, I'm Mira. 👋
I live in the Finnish countryside with my partner, our dog, eight curious young chickens, and one very kind rooster.
Since moving to the countryside, I've found inspiration in the little things around me. The changing seasons, birds singing outside my window, quiet mornings, and nature walks all find their way into the brushes and illustrations we create.
When I'm not drawing, you'll usually find me gardening, picking mushrooms or wild berries, walking our dog through the forest, or baking something cozy once autumn arrives. I also love Halloween and Christmas, so don't be surprised if a little of that magic finds its way into future brush collections.
Hello, I'm Essi. 🙌
I live with my partner and our two rescue cats, who bring plenty of personality to our home.
I love illustrating animals, whimsical characters, and turning those illustrations into paper goods and tattoo designs.
I love the cozy hygge way of life, but I also enjoy spending time in nature watching and photographing birds.
Nature is where most of my ideas begin. I'm inspired by vintage illustrations, cottagecore, fantasy stories, and the beautiful world of Beatrix Potter. If you enjoy that kind of atmosphere, you're in the right place.
