Hi, we’re Mira and Essi. We’re two artists from Finland, and we started Ink Wild Brushes with handmade brushes for Procreate. We wanted to keep the textures we loved in traditional art while drawing digitally.

But we’ve always loved other kinds of making, too. So over time, we started adding our own coloring pages, patterns and craft designs to the shop. A lot of our ideas come from animals, nature, old storybooks and the changing seasons.

There’s also a more personal reason behind Ink Wild. Alongside our work as tattoo artists, we wanted to build something that would allow us to slow down and spend more time making art from our own ideas.

We’re still figuring out that balance ourselves. But making things just because we enjoy it is something we want to hold on to, and we hope our products encourage you to do the same.

We draw our illustrations and make our brushes ourselves, without generative AI.
